What Collectors and Clients have said of my work
Collecting 3 of Miko's paintings
I met Miko at an opening many years ago and was stopped in my tracks upon first encountering "The First Three Minutes", the story of the universe's birth on three metal canvases. I had to own it. I was mesmerized and awestruck. With immense beauty created by flowing shapes and a palette of colors rich and vibrant it simply gave me pleasure. The work has texture, it moves, it tells a story, it is sculpture and painting.

Inspired
Miko's work has been known to leave a lump in my throat. I'm always amazed at the way Miko pulls the unusual from the ordinary, finds the miracle in the commonplace. My favorite Miko creations are those of the feminine form made breathtaking and sublime through his vision and treatment. As a personal note, when I met Miko 16 years ago, he challenged all of the provincial, narrow philosophies that shaped my insular suburban upbringing. He compelled me to question and discover. Through Miko, my life has been sculpted into something more glorious—bolder— than it ever could have been, had I not found him as a friend. His creations reflect that same desire to challenge, embolden, and question.

Collector of many years
I have been a fan and collector of Miko\'s art for many years. Most of the rooms in my home are adorned with his work, and my Miko screensaver on my office computer gets many compliments. His work is at times profound; at times whimsical, even irreverent; and always compelling. Miko\'s use of color captivates and illuminates wherever his art is displayed.\'

Breathtaking
You MUST see this artwork in person. It\'s postively breathtaking. The first time I saw it was in the home of a friend with tons of artistic displays in their home, overwhelming in number but the ONLY piece that I inquired about was Miko\'s art.

Collecting Miko's art, Utopia You
I find all of Miko's work beautiful, unique and very alive. His pieces, even the seemingly simple, straightforward pieces, contain a complex intimacy that makes it possible for the viewer to hold a different emotional experience with each consideration of the piece. I bought Miko's piece entitled "Utopia You" from a show in Albuquerque. This piece, in particular, often confronts me with a coarse sadness, other times profound nostalgic empathy, and other times a mixture of these feelings and others. Some pieces are very clean and powerful in their sharpness, while others are likened to subtle, yet interestingly schizophrenic, poetry
